amazing eggs in sumac onion dressing


  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 red onion thinly sliced
  • 1/2 tablespoon sumac
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • pinch of salt


  1. Combine onions, sumac, salt and oil in bowl, set aside
  2. Boil water
  3. Add eggs for exactly 9 minutes (unless you like the yolk very dry in that case add 2 more minutes)
  4. Remove eggs and rinse under cold water

  5. Peel, slice and serve on top of Sumac onion dressing
