Medjool date vinaigrette is a wonderful tangy sweet combination that’s so easy to make you’ll want to put it on everything!
So, I’m back again with another Medjool date recipe! Yes, yes, I know, I’m obsessed. First there was Peach and Date Honey Biscuits! Then there was Medjool Date Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls! Then there was even Medjool Date Turmeric Smoothies!… And now this! Being dramatic is fun sometimes…moving along;-)
Well, as I’ve said before, Natural Delights makes some really delicious Medjool dates, and they are definitely the stars here! As we know, a vinaigrette is usually very acidic. So it’s nice to mellow or balance it out with some sweetness…enter, the date! It’s a very easy, healthy way to make this dressing really come together.
There’s nothing too crazy happening with the dressing because it can be prepared in minutes and you have a whole new way to enjoy your salad! Plus, since it’s creamy, thanks to our friend Dijon mustard, it seems way richer and more decadent than it is. So enjoy a big bowl of salad with this vinaigrette and let us know what you think!
This sweet & tangy dressing is so easy to make, you'll want to put it on everything!
- 6 Natural Delights Medjool dates
- 1/4 cup dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 1/2 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 1 clove garlic, pressed
- 1/4 tsp salt
- pepper, to taste
In a small bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well. Enjoy!
