Green Olive Tapenade is the jack of all trades recipe! It can be a dip, a topping, a sandwich spread, you name it! This recipe does it all and the added bonus…it’s super simple to make!
Green olive tapenade is as delicious as it is simple! There are only a few ingredients and you really just need to blend or mix them together. It’s super forgiving and comes together in a flash. It’s perfect for parties as an appetizer with crackers or goes great with our Quinoa Crusted Chicken as a delicious topping!
Why stick to Kalamata when you could GO GREEN!
I personally love kalamata olive tapenade, but you see that all the time. Green olives are the less popular but still super fun cousins that you don’t see as often, but when you do, you’re so glad they came;-)
Green comes in many shades, so pick your fav!
All you need are some green olives, Castelvetranos are great, but any kind you like will work. Throw them in a food processor with garlic, olive oil, and lemon and that’s it! Chunky texture is great and I can for once say, hold the salt! This is a very salty dish because of those little olives. Serve with some crusty bread or crackers, or even along side some cheese!
